1. Due to firewall restrictions, particularly on off-campus and wireless connections, you will need to connect to the your campus VPN service before installing and to use this software.
   
   
2. Double click the .exe file you downloaded from the WebStore.
   
   
   
   
3. Click on Start.
   
   
   
   
4. The files will be downloaded and extracted.
   
   
   
   
5. Click on Next.
   
   
   
   
6. Select I want to install software now. Click on Next.
   
   
   
   
7. Select I have serial numbers for one or more products in this installer. DESELECT Select and activate products based on my serial numbers (Internet connection required). Click on Next.
   
   
   
   
8. Select the product you wish to install. Click Next.
   
   
   
   
9. Click on Next. The installer will check for notifications.
   
   
   
   
10. The installer will contact NI. At that time of this installation there were no notifications. Your experience may be different depending on the date you install the software. Click on Next.
    
    
    
    
    
    
11. Enter Your Name, University of Illinois as the Organization and click on Next.
    
    
    
    
12. Enter the serial number and click on click on Next. The serial number was provided to you when you purchased the software. You can retrieve this number by logging into the WebStore and clicking on Order History. Find this offer on your list and click on the order number.
    
    
    
    
13. Select a destination directory and click on Next.
    
    
    
    
14. Accept the license agreements and click on Next.
    
    
    
    
    
    
15. Click on Next.
    
    
    
    
16. Click on Next.
    
    
    
    
17. You will see two dialogue boxes, one behind the other. The installation will begin and will take MANY minutes. You will see two windows, one behind the other.
    
    
    
    
18. Click on Next.
    
    
    
    
19. Read the Firewall warning and click on Click on Next.
    
    
    
    
20. The installer will contact the server to determine if there are any notifications. Click on Next.
    
    
    
    
    
    
21. Accept the license agreement and click on Next.
    
    
    
    
22. Click on Next.
    
    
    
    
23. Device Drivers will be installed.
    
    
    
    
24. Click on Next.
    
    
    
    
25. Click on Next.

28. Click on Yes to restart your computer.
    
    
    
    
29. After restarting, go to Start > Programs > National Instruments and select NI License Manager. Select Preferences from the Options menu. Do not click on Activate. You can not activate this product.
    
    
    
    
30. Place a check next to Use Volume License Servers and enter the license server information and click on OK. This information was provided to you when you purchased the software. You can also retrieve this information by logging into the WebStore and clicking on Order History. Find this offer on your list and click on the order number.
    
    
    
    
    
31. You are now ready to use LabVIEW Fall 2015 for Windows.

Mac

1. Double click the file .dmg you downloaded from the WebStore.
   
   
   
   
2. The file will open and place a disk image called ASL Fall 2015 Mac Linux on your desktop.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. If the above folder does not automatically open please open it. Double click LabVIEW 2015 SP1 Pro.pkg to begin the installation.
   
   
   
   
4. Click on Continue.
   
   
   
   
5. Click on Continue.
   
   
   
   
6. Click on Continue.
   
   
   
   
7. Click on Agree.
   
   
   
   
8. Click on Install.
   
   
   
   
9. Administrative access is required for this installation. Enter the Name and Password of an account with administrative access and click on OK.
   
   
   
   
10. The installation will begin and will take several minutes.
    
    
    
    
11. Click on Close.
    
    
    
    
12. You are now ready to use LabVIEW Fall 2015 for Mac.
