More information about VPN software can be viewed here:

UIUC Campus

UIS Campus  (this page contains a link to an installation file that is different than the one in the WebStore offer for the UIS VPN)

UIC Campus

For most applications, such as Labview and software that requires a Remote Desktop Connection, like STATA, you should set the VPN application up so that all traffic is going over the VPN connection.

For the UIUC and UIS campuses you should set tunneling to ALL instead of Split. For the UIUC campus this can be set in the login screen.

For the UIC campus to route all traffic through UIC’s VPN, you must connect to the Library Resources VPN to route all traffic.

For more information about the 2 different VPN groups at UIC, click here.

For additional help with using a WebStore remote application such as Stata see the instructions that are provided in your WebStore order history.
