Reference Manager 12 Installation Instructions

1. Insert the media that was mailed to you into your computer. The installer should automatically start, and you should see the screen below.

If does not, open the media drive and double click AutoRun.exe. Click Run AUTORUN.exe to begin.

2. Click on Install Reference Manager.
   
   
3. The files will extract.
   
   
4. Then a windows installer window will appear.
   
   
5. Space requirements will be computed.
   
   
6. Click Next to begin the installation.
   
   
7. Read the Read Me Information and click on Next.
   
   
8. Enter your Name, Organization and Serial Number. The serial number was provided to you at the time of your purchase.

To retrieve the serial number login to the WebStore and click on Order History. Find this offer on your list and click on the order number.

9. Accept the license agreement and click on Next.
   
   
10. Select a destination location and click on Next.
    
    
11. Select the features you wish to install and click on Next.
    
    
12. Select a default citation manager and click on Next.
    
    
13. Click Next to begin the installation.
    
    
14. You will see an installation progress window.
    
    
15. The installation is complete. Click on Finish.
    
    
16. Your default web browser will now open to the Reference Manager registration page. You may register if you so choose.
    
    
17. You are now ready to use Reference Manager 12.
