Pro 2018 Installation Instructions |

Before beginning the
installation process, you must follow the link in your WebStore order history
to request your Product Key from
Origin. To find this link, login to WebStore, click Order History along the
left menu. Find this order on your list and click the blue order number. The
link will be in the section located below your order line items. |

|
Create an account
with an @illinois.edu, @uis.edu or @uic.edu email address if you do not
already have an account with Origin. After you login you can request your Product Key. The Product Key is emailed to you from info@originLab.com. Please check your
spam folder if you do not receive this email. |

1.
Double click on the .exe file you downloaded from the U
of I WebStore |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2.
Next you will see the Welcome screen.
Clicki Next. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3.
Accept the License Agreement and click Yes. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4.
Select Install
Product (requires serial number) and click on Next. |
|

|
|
|
|
|
5.
Enter your name, University of Illinois and the serial
number and click on Next.
The serial number was provided to you when you purchased the software. You
can retrieve this number by logging into the WebStore and clicking on Order
History. Find this offer on your list and click on the order number. |

Select if you wish to install 32-bit, 64-bit or both |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
7.
Select a destination location and click on Next. |
|
|
|

|

Choose the features you wish to install and click Next. |
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
12 Select the users
(on your computer) who can use this software and click on Next. |

Select which program folder you would like this software
to appear under and click on Next. |

|

|
14 Click Next to begin the
installation. The installation will begin and may take several minutes. |

|
|
|
16 The installation is
complete, click on Finish. |

Open Orgin Pro for the first time. Select which folder you want your files
stored in and click on OK. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
19 Click Yes to create this folder. |

|
|

Enter the Product Key that was emailed to you as the result of your Product
Key Request from Origin. |

|
|
|
|
|
21.
Origin Pro 2018 is now licensed for yopur computer. Click on OK. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
22. You are now ready to
use Origin Pro 2018. |
